That will put your Mini encoders in Relative2 mode, which will make them behave as real encoders instead of midi continuous controllers. You can then load into the Mini the presets for Layers A and B that I included in this post. You will have to collect a few pieces of software that translate the midi messages from the Mini to the simįirst of all, download the X-Touch Mini Editor from Behringer here: Let's see how do you get everything working: Note that rotary encoders on the Mini also have push-buttons on them, so you can use them to do nifty things like centering your trims or pushing your QNH encoder to set it to standard barometric pressure. You can choose what do you want to control with your Mini, but to give you an idea of what can be done with it here's my current setup: The Mini is an inexpensive (~50$) midi controller that can be bought just about everywhere in the world, and may be a cheap solution for those who can't afford more sofisticated devices. This FreePIE script will let you use the Behringer X-Touch Mini to operate many of your sim's knobs, buttons and sliders. ![]()
